The local district session court on Tuesday rejected the petition of ANP Minister Syed Aqil Shah to temporarily stop the trial, and issued orders for him to appear before the court on January 08, 2012. The hearing was started in the court of district and session Judge, Shebar Khan. The councillor of the provincial Minister Syed Aqil Shah informed the court that a civil suit was also continuing against the petitioner in the Lahore High Court that is why the court was requested to stop his trial in a criminal case.
